• Durovernum Cantiacorum

  The Forum Basilica of Durovernum Cantiocorum was a place of business. But aside from trade it held a secret in its underbelly. Hidden from the hatefull gazes of the Romans still clinging to their old Pantheon, the regent of the town had already secretly pledged his faith in the one true God of the upcoming religion of Roman Catholicism.
  By day the busy basilica was bursting at the seems with officials and tradesmen, with attendees making sure products, services and people arrived at their respective places. But by night... By night hushed prayers filled the hidden basement. The same attendees and regent were the flock and the sheppard.
  
  Those that sought to steal from the basiclica were given the choice to repent, or to face judgement. Those that did repent were made to tend to the work in and around the basilica that required no social interaction: gardenning, cooking, administration. Those that had spent long enough to be allowed to walk amongst those that may speak were even taken along those that provided a healing hand or other servants, as serfs.
